When to use a stainless steel chain

The choice of a stainless steel chain over the conventional low-carbon steel chain depends on the use for which it is intended. It is used when:

  • the final field of application is particular (food, agriculture, urban furnishing, plant engineering, nautical, etc.)
  • the atmospheric agents to which the chain is subjected, which cause its degradation and corrosion, are very aggressive (rain, salinity, humidity, etc.)
  • it is necessary to extend the life of the chain over time to avoid costs for its replacement
